What it is
Physical treatment replacing atmospheric oxygen with humidified nitrogen (RH 50-65%) inside an airtight chamber. Controlled hypoxia (O₂ < 0.1%) for 21-28 days at room temperature kills all wood-borer and microorganism life stages without damaging artworks.
