High, prolonged, uniform heat: certified thermal disinfestation

Physical-thermal treatment in ventilated, humidified chamber. Chamber gradually brings temperature to 60-65 °C, maintained for the time needed for the wood core to reach 56 °C for at least 30 minutes.

Humidity control (RH 60-70%) during heating is critical: it prevents cracks, deformation and glue loss in antique furniture. Thermal probes inserted in the thickest parts continuously measure internal temperature.

Our chamber is registered and inspected by ICQRF/MIPAAF for IPPC mark release.

Phase 1 – Pickup at customer's place (included within 50 km of Florence).
Phase 2 – Chamber loading. Thermal probes positioned in thickest sections.
Phase 3 – PLC-controlled thermal cycle: rise ramp, 60-65 °C plateau, controlled cooling.
Phase 4 – Record check: proof every point exceeded 56 °C for ≥ 30 minutes.
Phase 5 – Release of ISPM-15 certificate or furniture technical report.
Phase 6 – Return delivery to customer.

Typical total duration: 3-5 days from pickup to return.
