Targeted injections inside galleries: the poison reaches where the larvae live
Injection of fluid PT8 biocides directly into existing emergence holes. The product travels through the internal gallery network saturating them: lethality on deep larvae, future immunity of the wood in subsequent months.
"Injections saturate the gallery network dug by woodworms: no larva survives, not even deep inside."
What it is
Targeted chemical technique using the gallery network dug by larvae as a distribution channel. Injection is done with pressure guns equipped with calibrated needle (Ø 2-3 mm) inserted into emergence holes, until visible saturation (product seeps from adjacent holes).
Typical active ingredients: permethrin (fast neurotoxic), cyfluthrin (long residual), boron salts (low environmental impact, ideal for inhabited spaces).

Who needs it
Exposed beams with advanced infestation and numerous holes (≥ 5 holes per 10 cm of beam).
Premium furniture with localised infestation.
Removable components (doors, shutters) — cheaper workshop treatment.
Not suitable for museum-grade artworks (prefer anoxia).
Our approach
Phase 1 – Hole mapping. Identification of 'guide' holes (deepest and most ramified).
Phase 2 – Controlled-pressure injection (2-4 bar) with product suited to species and environment (boron for inhabited homes, permethrin for empty spaces).
Phase 3 – Surface impregnation by brush over the whole surface (reinforces defence).
Phase 4 – Optional hole filling for aesthetic reasons.
Return time to environment: 24-48 hours after ventilation. Final certification with technical report and applied product SDS.
